1st episode of a foreign TV drama

I watched one of American TV drama series titled “Prison Break” which is produced by
Paul Scheuring and it had continued for about 4 years. The main characters are
Michael Scofield played by Wentworth Miller and Lincoln Burrows played by Dominic
Purcell. The first episode of 1st season premiered on August 29, 2005 in the United States and Japan. It was very popular and there were many fans in U.S. and Japan.
The summary of 1st story is below. Michael Scofield, whose body is covered with tattoos had robbed a bank and was arrested. He is not only a smart person, but also has an excellent academic record and his personality is so good. Actually, he never had trouble with money. Then, why he did do this bank robbery? The true purpose of his bank robbery is to be imprisoned and to help his brother Lincoln Burrows by breaking out of prison. Lincoln Burrows has been imprisoned as a condemned criminal in Fox River Prison because of being judged guilty of the murder of the brother of the Vice president of the United States. However, Lincoln told his little brother Michael that it is a false accusation. So, Michael trusted his brother’s words, and he was aware of a plot behind the false accusation. Michael thought that even if he fought the powerful government agents face to face, he would not be in time to save his brother’s life. Therefore, he decided to make the plan of a prison break. Elaborate preparations and a deliberate plan were needed to make his prison breaking proceed perfectly. The bank robbery was to imprison him in the same place where Lincoln is. Knowledge of prisoners is needed to get help for the act of breaking. In addition, he has an advantage in that he was an architectural engineer and he repaired Fox River Prison. So, the tattoo which is covering Michael’s body is a design drawing of the prison.

The 1st episode makes us to have some presentiment that some irregular events will happen. We will be interested in how they will accomplish their prison break. As you wonder what the consequences would be, you should not start to watch it before examination.
