BR015 : The Billy Goats Gruff

 I knew this story named "The Three Goats Gruff".  In Japanese, Gruff was translated to "Garagara-don".  The younger brothers are clever and the oldest brother, Biffer, is strong and reliable.  I want to be like him.  I read this story when I was a child and maybe, my father read me.  I was a little scary about the troll but I liked this story very much.  Japanese "Garagara-don" was good sound for little me.  I asked my father to read the book before I slept.
 I remember that, in the Japanese book, the troll is drew scary, so I was scaring.  However, in this book, the illustrations are very comical and cute.  It is easy for me to read this book.  If you know the Japanese version, you will read this book more enjoyable, but if you don't know, you'll read enjoyable.  So, I recommend that you read this book.

BR014:The Midnight Ghosts

"An invisible hand was writing on the dusty mirror." (p.23)

 This is a scary story.  The main characters, Sally and Adam, were invited the big house, where their relatives lived.  However, their relatives were strange.  One liked mathematics like joke, another liked disgusting food and more.  It was curse.  Also, in Sally and Adam's room, invisible hand appeared, which was a victim of the curse.  I was scary when I started to read it, but reading more, it wasn't scary.  Sally and Adam found the way to break the curse.  It was exciting adventure story at the end.
 In this book, there are many pictures which make you scary and excited.  Maybe, you can enjoy reading this book if you read it.  However, if you don't like a scary story, you prefer not to read it.

BR013: The Snow Queen

　This is a story about a boy named Kay and a girl named Gerda.  The boy was caught by the Snow Queen.  The girl wandered the world to look for the boy.  The girl was helped by a lot of people and animal, such as crows, princess, a robber girl, pigeons, reindeer and more.  In this book, animals can speak, and there are magics.  The boy was caught because of the Snow Queen's magic.  The magic is little scary.  The people who helped Gerda are very kind.  I liked this story and the character who is reindeer named Ba.  The story was very fun.
 This book has a lot of nice illustrations.  I liked them.  The illustration of the Ice Castle was very beautiful.  I hope you like it.  I recommend that you read this book.

BR012: Macbeth

 This is a story written by William Shakespeare.  I watched the movie in a class named the introduction of English literature and read the book written in Japanese.  This is a tragedy and is counted the forth tragedy in William Shakespeare's works.  This is on the Middle Ages, and witches, king, and soldiers are appeared in this story.  This is very exciting story.  Also, this is a little scary.  The title, Macbeth, is a name of principal character.  This is a story about his prosperity and his corrupt.
 In this books, there are some photographs.  They are scenes from the movie, and they help you to read this book.  Shakespeare's works are long and difficult to read, but this book is short and easy to read.  I recommend that you read this book.  If you read this book and feel interesting, I also recommend that you watch the movie.

BR011: WILD HORSES

'Most people think of cowboys as Americans.  But in a way, the first cowboys were actually French!' (p.23)


 Horses are beautiful.  I like it very much!  After I read this book, I knew that there were a lot kinds of horses, and how people treated them.  The information that first cowboys were actually French surprised me.  Also, I felt a little angry for how people treated horses.  If horses increased and it was not good for people, hoses were killed.  If people who like hoses said something to protect horses, horses increased.  However, it can be said not only about horses but also about other lives.  And maybe, I received some wealth by such things.
 Any way, if you read this book, you will be able to learn more information about horses.  The illustrations of horses are very beautiful and very nice.  You will like it.  I recommend that you read this book.

Summer Vacation!!!!!

I don’t make my summer vacation plan yet, because I have many assignments of classes in this spring semester. Typing homework which I’m writing now is one of these. I think s serious problem never suffer is getting 40,000 points on English Central which is educational application on website. Actually, I know I have enough time to do it. But to maintain my concentration is difficult for me. I’m disgusted with my personality. It can’t be helped. However, each deadline would not be waiting for. So, all I have to do are don’t waste my time, to focus on each assignments and finish off steadily.

About blogging

I have not finished writing enough words on my blog yet. I think that if you can spend your life with much experience, interesting or exciting things, and some events, you don’t worry about topic to write on your blog. However, almost people who spend ordinary life don’t have enough topics to write on it. Of course, people who is university student can write about their classes; what they learned, what they did. Classes give us enough topics to write. But, it’s not easy for me to write summary of class in English. I need much vocabulary and comprehension to explain what I studied. Oh…I remember that the purpose of blogging is to educate and to progress our English skills.

About Shogi

Shogi is one of board game which is exciting and popular in the world especially Japan.

Its rule is so simple. This game is for one-to-one. Each player uses 8 kinds of pieces and total 20 pieces. To conquer enemy's king is the condition to win. In most cases, professional players accept their lost before “Tsumi” which is the situation that even if you move or use any pieces, you will lose. Because they can read almost the state of the game that will appear on the board in the future. Of course, I can't do like professional players, I and my friend never give up to see the result; Tsumi.

About my keitai

My keitai is not smart phone. We often say that a cell phone which is not smart phone is a Galapagos phone, also called “Garakei”. I don't know the first one who said Garakei. However, I can guess why these cell phones are called so. Galapagos Islands are places where the evolution of species had been stopped for a long time. I think the evolution of form of cell phone is so fast. 2 years ago, a cell phone which we call Garakei now was one of the standards of cell phone at that time. Time has passed; smart phone is the standard now. Recently, wearable computers put into use sparsely in the world. So, 2 or 3 years later, would smart phones be called Galapagos phone?

Using Computer

I have my own computer. I usual do below things using a computer. An application I always use is internet viewer named “Google Chrome”. When I elementary school student, I used “Internet Explorer” because I had thought that the only way to see website is to use IE. But, many tool items and extra advertising appear from IE make to be slowly to see website. I felt so bad. So, after I noticed that, I chose Google Chrome. It has smart and simple design and enough function to do net surfing. Word, Excel, Power Point from Microsoft are often used. Skill up to using them is important thing to assign reports or projects for school or company. By the way, how is important computer for you? Computers and Smart phones are must-have items for people who live this much information and communication on digital device. Me? Of course. When I want to get any information to make some reports or research something, first, I type key words on searching engine “google”. To choose and to collect right information is my job. To use computer and its application well is very important to live modern society.

I found 3 things from this survey.

 First, as Q3 and Q9, these answers showed us an interesting fact. Almost purposes which are answered from people who have a part-time job are to get extra money. Of course, everyone needs money to spend their own university life anytime, anyplace. However, working is not easy for us. 73% people who have a part-time job encounter complainer. I think this number is too high. So, No matter how our workings are stressful, we have to get extra money to spend satisfactory university life.

 Second, as Q12, This is the average of frequency of the attendance of working for a week of each grade. The number of freshman students and senior students are lower than other. Among 2^nd to 3^rd student, the number is increasing. I think that freshman students may not make enough time for part-time job, because they are not be accustomed for university life. And also, senior student may not make enough time, because they have to do job hunting. 2^nd and 3^rd year students would make enough their own time because they are accustomed for their university life and they have enough margin of getting credits. So, they may make time for part-time job.

 Finally, as Q17, now or in the future after you get a job, what’s the most important thing at work for you? Over 25% people answered that the most important thing is “high salary” and “challenging of workplace”. I think that it means even if the workplace is little bit smells black company; you can get high salary and you don’t care about it.
